About Us
Raku Process
Intense heat and a container full of combustible materials. As flames shoot upward, the fire is choked out by covering. This forces carbon into the clay body, producing the jet black clay body and crackle glaze.
Horse Hair Process
The horse hair process is related to Raku, except it is reduced by burning hair which leaves a wonderfully distinctive pattern. My process contains about 10 different steps to produce a sealed and lustrous surface.
